An in-room telephone with answering machine is provided, as well as a secure safe with room to hold your laptop. We’ve stayed at Maui Kai numerous times over the years, and it never disappoints. My husband loves being able to hear the ocean every night.
It’s the perfect spot; we love the fact that the units are privately owned, so it’s not a typical hotel chain. There are no crowds, no noise, just friendly people passing through. The beach is just a few steps away, almost like a private beach, since you’re far enough away from the large hotels. The units are all nicely decorated and well-stocked with everything you need for your stay. Most rooms also have umbrellas, chairs, and ice chests for your road trips. Centrally located to all the restaurants and shopping.

VIEW
We’ve been to Maui Kai before. Similar room on a different floor. We love the location and the VIEW is the best. You can’t get any closer to the ocean. Amazing sunsets, two islands, constant changing weather and the turtles make this a special place. We had a broken coffee pot and water a message to Allen, housekeeping had a new one delivered to the room right away. Thank you! Our only complaint was that the bed is a bit to hard for us, but this is a personally preference issue. Overall, the room is excellent!

Another Wonderful Stay
Just had our sixth visit to Maui Kai, the second one in Condo 907. They have everything we needed in our room and the facilities are perfect. This property is perfect for adults who want to relax. Not really suitable for children or teens as no fancy onsite activities or restaurants for the younger crowd. If you want a laid back vacation, this is the place for you!

Maui Kai is a very nice place to stay. The property is well kept and our unit was no exception, well furnished and very neat and clean. It is steps away to the beach and located in upscale community of condominiums. Restaurants are within walking distance, as well as shopping and a grocery store. They also have food trucks available (couple of blocks away) every night and the food was excellent! All personnel were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this property for your vacation stay in Maui.

The Best Ocean View!!!
If your top priority is waking to the sounds of waves lapping the shoreline and perfect views of the ocean, this is the place for you. We slept with the lanai doors open and heard nothing but the waves. Maui Kai a quaint, peaceful and affordable boutique condo resort. The building and gardens are well maintained and very clean. The building is a little older and the pool is smaller compared to others nearby. My four star review is based upon the bathroom in 907. The shower tile grout needs a thorough cleaning. Additionally, the caulking seams between the ceiling and walls need replacing and the frame needs repainting. Overall, we’re happy with the accommodations and would stay here again… the view is amazing.

Oceanfront condo for 2 with incredible view and close to great snorkeling beaches
Everything…from the comfort of the room to the incredible view! Supermarket very close to the condo…food trucks just a short walk where we had a choice between Fusion food, Mexican food, or BBQ and more! We enjoyed eating in since the kitchen was stocked with essential supplies. Also it’s a short drive to great snorkeling beaches.
