Door Lock
We have had the pleasure of staying in this amazing condo a few years ago.
We had an issue with the key pad to open the door from the outside. Has this been repaired?

We are finishing up getting our new locks and front doors on the property. Those poor doors were 50+ years old and I am happy to say they are no longer a issue and a huge upgrade to the property. We do offer Military/Return discounts just call us at 808-667-3500 and we can add that to your reservation.

Are you kidding me?
No, I’m not! Maui Kai is an amazing gem. I’m a type-A personality and it was very scary for me to rent a best rate corner unit, not knowing exactly what to expect. I was blown away with the condo we were assigned. The furnishings were great and the views were amazing. I doubt you can get closer to the water anywhere on Maui. Honestly, there is not a bad view in the building. We had everything we needed to cook, drink wine, make coffee…oh and cut pineapples. I loved being at a smaller complex! There was plenty of easy, close parking and the pool/grill area was never busy. Also, you can’t beat the location. It was a short walk to the yummy food
truck circle and shopping complex with a grocery store. Lahaina was a short drive.
The staff truly have the aloha spirit. Everyone from the gals in the check in office to “Z” who was taking out trash one morning were super friendly. For such a small complex they certainly had many hands working. I suppose that’s why they have such clean, beautiful grounds, an easy check in process with folks willing to give directions and recommendations, and super housecleaning services when requested.
And, to the “head honcho” in the private front office with an amazing view…if you ever need a professional pineapple cutter on staff…I’m your gal!

Your balcony literally rests at the edge of the ocean. It is so peaceful with only the sound of the waves. We had a corner room. Best view ever, and you’re in Paradise too!

One of the best units
Corner unit has great direct ocean view since you are virtually on top of the ocean, but additionally nice view northerly to see more scenic beach and neighboring hotels. This unit is very nice and up to date. The lanai is sacrificed for more living space, but that is ok since it is too hot on that side in the afternoon as it is direct west for sunsets. AC works great, but a nice breeze blows through with windows open. Kitchen equipment is plentiful for in room cooking. Take advantage of the outdoor cooking BBQ space in the pool area too. Pool community area is key gated and very private and comfortable. Staff is great and the grounds and facilities are kept up well. We had no issues or complaints. We would choose this unit as one of our top choices at Maui Kai.
