You’ve spent many years together enjoying each other’s company. Your relationship is at the point where entire conversations can be held between you both without ever uttering a word. You know that a deep, abiding love like that deserves to be celebrated in a special place but aren’t sure where. Allow us to suggest Maui.
We have wonderful Maui anniversary packages that are sure to please. They come complete with beautifully appointed, oceanfront accommodations and a long list of amenities. While onsite, soak in a heated Jacuzzi or lounge at a poolside cabana. Then spend the rest of the day exploring all that Maui has to offer inspirational couples just like you. There’s so many things to do in Ka’anapali alone so you may find yourselves wanting to come back for another anniversary vacation.
For example, you could schedule a horseback riding excursion into the mountains or go snorkeling in the deep blue sea. There are also whale watching cruises, helicopter tours, bicycling tours, zip line adventures and hiking trails to explore.
If you do decide to don a pair of hiking boots, consider setting your sights on the Kalaupapa National Historical Park in Moloka’i. It offers a steep, breathtaking, 3.5 mile trail that features rewarding views. Should the hike prove to challenging, guided mule tours are on offer too. Just be sure to bring all of your own hiking essentials because there are no restaurants or sundry shops located within the park.
On the west end of the island is a three mile long, remarkable beach known as Papohaku. It is typically very quiet and a great place to enjoy an ultra romantic, picnic lunch on the sand. There are other beaches on Moloka’i as well. Other spots to consider visiting with your loved one are Kapuaiwa Coconut Grove, Kumimi Beach Park, One Ali’i Beach Park, Kapukahehu Beach and Halawa Beach Park. However, you’ll want to keep in mind that the currents can be extremely strong in spots.
