5 Great Reasons to Book a Fall Honeymoon in Maui

It’s no secret that fall in Hawaii is a magical time. And nowhere could this be truer than Maui. During the fall months, the gardens’ color changes are very subtle, the sunsets are stunning and the ocean remains a beckoning azure. So don’t hesitate. It’s a perfect time to book a fall . Here are five more reasons why you should do:

Great Weather
To begin with, the weather on the Kaanapali Beach side of the island is beyond compare. You and your spouse will absolutely love the mild, warm temperatures and refreshing sea breezes characteristic of the fall months. Plus, there is traditionally very little rain late in the season.

Beautiful Scenery
Like we mentioned before, the fall scenery on Maui is also quite beautiful. There are always sandy beaches, sparkling waters and serene, fragrant corners of the island to explore. Plus, fall visitors can often enjoy one-of-a-kind views of cliff diving ceremonies and migrating, humpback whales.

Fun Special Events
All of the special events on tap are another superb reason to enjoy a fall Maui honeymoon. In 2014, you and your loved one may want to partake of a dinner cruise. They are available through the Pacific Whale Foundation. The list of other fall events on Maui includes, but doesn’t end with Pint Night for the Birds, Made in Maui Festival and the Hawaiian Music Series in Lahaina.

Fabulous Foods
Fall is also a great time to enjoy our island’s seasonal foods. It’s traditionally peak season for ginger, celery, bananas, lychees, avocados, mangoes, mountain apples and tangerines. So you may want to incorporate them into romantic dinners during your Maui honeymoon. There are several places that serve seasonal fare, including Wolfgang Puck’s Spago and Fleetwoods on Front Street.

Fall Specials
Finally, at Maui Kai, bridal couples can enjoy our fall specials and save a bundle on our oceanfront suites. The suites come with all of the Maui honeymoon niceties and onsite amenities. The list of favorite features includes a soothing Jacuzzi, gas barbecues, a heated pool, daily maid service and fully equipped kitchens.

To discover more reasons why having a fall honeymoon in Maui is the best decision a bridal couple can make, please  at Maui Kai. We are on Kaanapali Beach and open year round.
