Every condo at Maui Kai looks straight out at the ocean from its own lanai, so the only choice is how you’d like to book. Take our best rate and we’ll assign your condo when you arrive, or pick the exact one before you go. Either way, there’s no resort fee, no booking fee, and parking is free.
Two ways to book your condo at Maui Kai
Best Rate
The lowest rate we offer. Choose a junior suite, one bedroom or corner one bedroom, and we’ll assign your condo at check-in. Every one faces the water, so there’s no bad draw. Choose this if you are on a budget. Two nights minimum.
Pick a Condo
Choose your floor, the way you face, and an open or glassed-in lanai. That exact condo is held for you, and the photos you see are of that condo. Coming back to one you loved? Book it again here.Three nights minimum.

Included with every stay
Your nightly rate covers the whole property:
- Free parking and Wi-Fi
- A full kitchen, beach towels and your first pot of coffee
- The heated pool, hot tub and gas grills
- The cabana, with its kitchen, restrooms and Wi-Fi, for early arrivals and late flights
- Laundry on the property
- Kids under 18 stay free when no extra bedding is needed
At checkout you’ll see two additions to the nightly rate: a one-time cleaning fee and Hawaii taxes. That’s the whole bill.

Booking terms at a glance
- 30% deposit when you book, balance charged 30 days before arrival
- Cancel 31 days or more before arrival: $150 cancellation fee, the rest refunded
- 30 days or less before arrival: non-refundable, so travel insurance is worth it for trips booked well ahead
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover
- Check-in 4 PM, checkout 11 AM
Questions About Bookings at Maui Kai
Is mauikai.com the official Maui Kai website?
Yes. It’s run by the Maui Kai Rental Program from the front desk at 106 Kaanapali Shores Place. Some owners also rent their condos independently on VRBO and Airbnb, with their own hosts and terms.
Can I request a floor with Best Rate?
Ask and we’ll note it, but it isn’t guaranteed. If the floor matters, book Pick a Condo.
Can I book the same condo I stayed in last time?
Yes. Find it on Pick a Condo, or call the front desk and we’ll check your dates.
Can I book by phone?
Yes. Call (808) 667-3500, 9 AM to 5 PM Hawaii time. Same rates as online.
What is a condo-hotel?
A condominium building licensed to rent like a hotel. You get a full condo with a kitchen and lanai, plus a front desk and housekeeping. Maui Kai is hotel-zoned, so vacation rental restrictions elsewhere on Maui don’t apply here.
